New to Mage build advice

Hi all firstly may i say how pleased i am to be part of the guild, this is my first mage and i hope to make her good. I am going with Madrox for my tier 1 opener, aiming to go Taleks for tier 2. I am using pyrofiend firestick as my staff with a low level wand which i will obv improve as i level up. I have a few nice pieces of epic gear and a lot of rare felshian gear. My stats are currently ;
Strength 10
Speed 27
Intelligence 99
Perception 26
Stamina 41
Resist 13
My armour is 190.
I think i'm doing ok so far but if anyone has any advice to help me along the way or suggestions for tweaks to my build to improve it i would appreciate any help, and may i close by saying thanks in advance, and it's an honour to be among you all.
